Brand Usage

Logo and brand usage rules

The Chefs League brand, logo, and visual identity are protected by copyright. The following rules apply to all members.

  1. 01

    Permitted Use

    Active members may use the logo in professional materials, business cards, and official documents.

  2. 02

    Proportions

    Logo proportions must not be altered, stretched, or compressed in any way.

  3. 03

    Colour Standards

    Only official corporate colours — burgundy (#7A1F2E) and gold (#C9A84C) — must be used.

  4. 04

    Background Requirements

    The logo must only be placed on the standard dark or cream (#F5F0E8) backgrounds.

  5. 05

    Prohibition on Transfer

    Transfer of the logo to third parties without written permission is strictly prohibited.

Ethics Standards

Professional ethics requirements

Member Obligations

  1. Compete with full integrity in all competitions
  2. Treat fellow members with respect at all times
  3. Refrain from unauthorised public statements on behalf of the Association
  4. Resolve disputes through official channels only

Sanctions

  1. An ethics violation may result in up to 3 formal warnings
  2. Serious violations may lead to suspension of membership
  3. Membership fees are non-refundable upon expulsion
  4. Appeals may be submitted to the Ethics Committee
Intellectual Property

Competition recipes, methodologies, and teaching materials are the intellectual property of Chefs League. Written permission is required to share them.

    Recipe Rights

    Recipes submitted to competitions are assigned to the Association; authorship is acknowledged.

    Teaching Materials

    Masterclass and seminar materials are fully protected by copyright.

    Photography Rights

    Photos taken at events may only be used in accordance with the brand guidelines.

    Commercial Use

    Commercial use of brand elements requires a separate written agreement.
